Concreting
Good concrete is mostly preparation: the base, the falls for drainage, the reinforcement and the joints. We set that out clearly in the quote so you know what is being built under the surface as well as on top.

Concreting questions
How thick should the concrete be?
It depends on what will sit on it. Paths, driveways and slabs carrying heavy loads differ. We recommend a thickness and reinforcement in the quote after seeing the site.
When can I use it?
Concrete needs time to cure before foot traffic and longer before vehicles. We give you clear guidance for your pour on the day.
Do you remove old concrete?
Yes. Tell us in the estimate what is there now and we will allow for removal and disposal.
